Kismat ki qalam

This song expresses how destiny pre-ordains our lives and how we are totally oblivious to the very next moment that we will all live through. The song has been inspired by Joey and Daisy -- the most beautiful souls that have touched our lives. It talks about painful longing for the loved ones who are away and a fervent hope to be reunited with them one day. Through this song , we also wish to express our deep gratitude and appreciation for the fearless soldiers on the borders of every country and for their self sacrificing and equally brave families who await their return. Chidiya

Through the example of the life of a bird, the song describes the transition from innocent infancy to the stark reality of adulthood. LYRICS : Sabse pehle mere ghar ka ande jaisa tha aakaar, tab main yahi samajhti thi bas itna sa hi hai sansaar. Phir mera ghar bana ghonsla sookhe tinkon se taiyaar tab mein yahi samajhti thi bas itna sa hi hai sansaar. Phir mein nikal padi shaakhon par - hari bhari thi jo Sukumar, tab mein yahi samajhti thi bas itna sa hi hai sansaar. Aakhir jab mein asmaan mein urhi door tak pankh pasaar, Tabhi samajh mein mere aaya kitna bada hai yeh sansaar.. Bahut bada hai yeh sansaar, bahut bada hai yeh sansaar, Tabhi samajh mein mere aaya, kitna barha hai yeh sansaar.. ENGLISH TRANSLATION : To begin with my abode was in the shape of an egg and so I thought that this was the size of the world. Then as I grew, the size of my world was the size of my nest which had been woven with dry twigs. Gradually I moved out of my nest on to the tender young branches of the tree and thus stepped into a bigger world. Finally I grew older and spread out my wings and flew far and wide. It was then that I realised how enormous the world really is.... Supna

Our song 'Supna' is a dream for a better world for the girl child (specially in India) Lyrics - Polly Saghera Co-composed by Jasleen Aulakh and Polly Saghera (Project 'Just Ittefaaq') Lead Guitar - Rohit Joshi Percussions - Gaurish Sood Produced, engineered and mastered by Keshav Dhar at Studio Purple, New Delhi LYRICS : Mera supna, je pura ho jaave, ik navi hi duniya ban jaave Dheeyaan da vah vah maan hove, is dharti te jannat aap uttar aave Kyun nafrat kariye os dhi nu, jedhi sobha kiti guruaan ne Dhee vi os maa da roop hi hai , jine jamme saare raajaan vi ne Eh sach hai, dhee doli chardi, jado puttar doli liyaande ne Par dhee rehnd apni dhee hi hai, jado putt begaane ho jaande ne Ki haq hai saanoo ainvein hi , ik nanhi jaan di jaan laiye, Insaan de roop nu chadke asi, shaitan da dharan kar laiye Kyon ghutiye dam ohdi jamdi da, kyun mangiye usto daaj kade, eh Rab di ditti daulat hai , kyon na milke ihda cha kariye mera supna, je pura ho jaave, ik navi hi duniya ban jaave....... ENGLISH TRANSLATION : If my dream were to come true, the world would be a completely new place. Girls would enjoy much more respect It would seem as if heaven had itself descended on this earth (Life on this earth would seem so heavenly) Why should we have contempt for her who has been held in high esteem even by our own sages? (Even the Sikh Guru, Guru Nanak Dev Ji has said "Kyun manda usnu aakhiye jis jamme raajaan ?” The girl child is a symbol of motherhood and it is the woman who gives birth even to great emperors. It is true (according to Indian tradition) that when a girl gets married, she leaves behind her parental home whereas a boy who gets married brings with him a companion into his parents' home. But a daughter remains a loving daughter for the whole of her life ; the son remains a son until he finds a wife. We have no reason to take the life of the newly born girl child. In doing this we transform ourselves from human beings into demons. We have no right to muffle the life out of the female foetus and no right to ask a bride for dowry. The girl child is a God-given gift of untold wealth. Let us all unite to usher her into our world with utmost love and respect.

Tripping on a dream (original) - by Jasleen

TRIPPING ON A DREAM (LYRICS) : The world that they live in is probably what, probably what I'd call Hell, They just don't admit it 'coz ignorance is bliss....It's a curse But I believe in Karma, So I try doing good deeds I guess that's the reason I'm blessed with my dreams My dreams, they're all mine In my dreams, you're not unkind My dreams don't last an entire lifetime...That's the pity of it all. There are times I feel like running away, running away from it all Seems reality has no reason, and there's just no way out....It's a curse But I believe in Karma, So I try doing good deeds I guess that's the reason I'm blessed with my dreams My dreams, they're all mine In my dreams, you're not unkind My dreams don't last an entire lifetime...That's the pity of it all. And so whenever my worries spare me with some time, There's nothing I live more than Tripping on a dream Tripping on , Tripping on, Tripping on a drea, There's nothing I love more than tripping on a dream
